He was predeceased by: his father William Boyce Deason, Jr.. He is survived by: his mother Annie Price Deason; his children, Benjamin Deason (Dana), Sarah Deason and Jacob Deason (Catalina); his granddaughter Elizabeth "Ellie"; his siblings, William B. Deason III (Phyllis) and Louanne Casey (Ed); his nephew Boyce Deason IV (Jamie); and the mother of his children Sherry Kimbrell.
