He is survived by: his wife Faye Helms Blackwell; his daughter Tracy Kidd (Michael); his granddaughters, Lauren Tipton (Ryan) and Kelsie Kidd; his daughter Stephanie McClung (Ron); his grandchildren, Jordan Anderson, Keegan McClung, Taylor and Aubrey McClung; his son Chad Blackwell (Julie); his granddaughters, Marley and Reese Blackwell; his son Greg Blackwell (Cathy); his grandchildren, Maggie, Meredith Blackwell and Brody Blackwell; and his sister Donna Simmers (Joe).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:15 PM at the First Baptist Church (121 Monroe White St, Fort Mill, SC 29715). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
