He was predeceased by: his wife Joan Reed Cornell; and his parents, Elizabeth McDermitt Cornell and Harold B. Cornell. He is survived by: his son Peter Stewart Cornell (Nancy); his granddaughter Catherine; his daughter Nancy Lesiw; his grandsons, Christopher and Matthew; and his great grandchild Rev. Amy Susan Cornell.
