He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis S. Broom and Jeannie H. Broom. He is survived by: his wife Frances Broom; his sons, Davy Broom (Stephanie) and Kirk Broom (Keri); and his grandchildren, Morgan, Natalie and Eli Broom.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Palmetto Funeral Home (2049 Carolina Pl, Fort Mill, SC 29708). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Hospice group.
