It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Clark Ryder of Fort Mill, South Carolina, who passed away on July 17, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Lois T. Ryder; his parents, Richard F. Ryder and Lola J. Ryder-Deason; and his siblings, Nelson, Red, Winston, Richard, Margie Bailes, Felicia Bennett and Marianne Sampson.

He is survived by: his son Stephen of Urbana, IL; his grandchildren, Johnathan Ryder and Heather Ryder; his daughter Diane Dulin (Roger) of Fort Mill, SC; his grandchildren, Amber Hennighan (Zac) and Spencer Dulin; his daughter Laurie Ryder of Hobart, IN; his great grandchildren, Aerial Ryder, Liam Worthen, Zayne Ryder, Domanick Ryder and Riley Hennighan; and his sisters, Jeannie Keifer and Meyna Williams. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

The Carolina Copy Cats dance and lip-synch vintage songs to entertain seniors. Bill knew all the words to these songs and was a hard working member of our organization. His wife also helped with our group until she could no longer participate. I'm just glad to have had some quality time with them both before their passing.”
