She was predeceased by: her mother Bessie McKinney; her husband Donald "Don" Giles; her sons, Donald Wayne "Dwayne" Giles and Daron Scott Giles; her siblings, Violet Allred and Don McKinney; and her siblings-in-law, Jake Couch and Joyce Osborne of Fort Mill.

She is survived by: her daughter Sharon Archie (David Archie Jr) of Fort Mill; her grandson David Lee Archie III; and her brother Kenneth "Sonny" McKinney of Rock Hill.
