She was predeceased by: her parents, Luke Evans and Carrie Hill Evans. She is survived by: her close friend Frank Gilliam; her children, Johnny E. Evans, J. B. Hunter, Elbert Hunter, John Douglas Hunter, James Boyd, Flora Smith, Thomasina Sweeney and Sarah Calwile; and her siblings, James Earl Evans and Janie Pearl Evans. She is also survived by twenty grandchildren and twenty-four great-grandchildren.
