He is survived by: his children, Bobby Vance (Marian), Kimberly Parks-Gary (Thomas), Shannon Vance (Leon) and Contrina Luster (Kelvin); and his siblings, Frank Parks (Lizzie), Albert Parks, Lillie Drummond, Mildred Griffin, Rachel Miller and Dorothy Parks. He is also survived by five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
