He is survived by: his wife Jane McCarter Vaughan; his children, Ann Vaughan and Randal Vaughan (Sarah); his grandchildren, Dillon Vaughan (Sydne Wetmore), Colton Vaughan and Brenna Vaughan; and his sister-in-law Virginia Ann McCarter.
