He was predeceased by : his parents, James Stewart and Mae Johnston Stewart; and his sisters, Ellen Masin and Mae Stewart. He is survived by : his wife Carol Edwards Stewart of Fountain Inn; his sons, Travis Stewart (Christina) of Mahopac, NY and James Stewart (Yvonne) of Chapel Hill, NC; his grandchildren, Liam, Gwendolyn and James Stewart; and his sister Jessie Shannon of Bayshore, NY. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
