She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Edward Long, Sr. and Josephine Pennington Long; her sons, Ron Armstrong and Dean Garrett; and her husband Arthur Horace "Corky" Garrett, Jr..
She is survived by: her daughters, Cindy Baumgardner (Jim), Delight Wallace and Tanya Bartow (Jef); her daughter-in-law Rebecca Armstrong; her brother Ed Long, Jr. (Karren); and her grandchildren, Jarred Armstrong, Seth Armstrong (Amanda), Brandi Hensley (Scott), Ashley Foy (Jimmy), Brian Wallace (Karin), Tony Wallace (Candie), Kyle Wallace (Danielle), Jonathan Garrett, Rachel Barker (Jacob), Karlie Tankersley, Nathaniel Garrett and Jason Israel (Kim). She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
