She was predeceased by: her father Fred Spurgeon. She is survived by: her sons, Brian Spurgeon of Fountain Inn and Carlos Spurgeon (Lisa) of Williamston; and her siblings, Charles Spurgeon (Ursula) of Greenville, Margaret Evans (Lawrence) and Betty James (Willie) of Gray Court. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.
