She is survived by : her husband William Vaughn Brooks; her daughter Ava Chandler (Gregg); her grandchildren, Major Chad Chandler, Lindsay Gregory (Chris), Gregory Chandler, Cheri Boothe (Chris) and Macie Herden (Alex); and her brother James Mahaffey (Diane).
