With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Kathleen King (Fountain Inn, South Carolina), born in Greer, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 23, 2026 at the age of 90. She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Hamby and Clara Fuller Hamby; her son Mike King; her brother Clyde Hamby; her grandson Troy Mauldin; and her husband Charles Morris King.
She is survived by: her children, Morris "Mac" King II (Janis), Kathy Baughman (Sam) and Kim Mahaffey (Mark); her daughter-in-law Linda King; and her grandchildren, Jodi Whitfield, Gina Thompson-Leonard (J. P.), Adrienne MacLeod (Corey), Corey Cothran, Alicia Mahaffey, Asa Mahaffey, Kyle King and John King. She is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandsons.
