He is survived by: his wife Brenda Aleshire Lanning; his children, Sean Lanning (Christina Kelly) of Hastings, FL, Ron Aleshire (Michelle) of Williamston, SC and Cheryl Maxon (Aaron) of Spartanburg, SC; his grandchildren, Brian Kelly, Matthew Aleshire (Ingrid), Lee Miller and Jessica Miller; and his sister Suellen Lanning Bobbe.
