She is survived by: her daughter Stacey Thompson Murray; her grandchildren, Tiara Black (Sweatman), Ashley Black and Tavares Harris; her sisters, Marjorie "Rachel" George of New York and Frances Walton-Smith (Donnie); her son Chris Utsey; and her friends, Anne Hailstock and Louvenia "Loukey" Griggs. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
