She was predeceased by : her husband Samuel Lewis McCarter; her parents, Roy Wilton Curry and Josie Kellett Curry; and her sister Mary Jane McKinney (Morris). She is survived by : her sons, Michael McCarter (Joel Garrett) and Charles McCarter (Dava); her grandchildren, Ryann Lynch (Pete) and Connor McCarter; and her son Jada Benton.
