Alan left this world on May 29, 2025 at the age of 71, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Eulin Dean "Ed" Love and Ellie Mae Wyatt Love; and his sister Torina Love. He is survived by: his wife Angela "Dumpy" Goode Love; his children, Michael Love of Gaffney and Madora Love Ray (Brian) of Gaffney; his siblings, Rodger Love of Gaffney, Pamela Goforth (Marshall) of Gaffney, Roxanna Haynes (Donald) of Gaffney and Angie Sellers (Jerry) of Gaffney; his grandchildren, Shane Love, Jadah Love, Christen Jackson, Aaron Ray (Victoria) and Christopher Ray; and his great grandchild Wyatt.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Beaverdam Baptist Church (142 Beaver Dam Rd, Gaffney, SC 29341).
