She was predeceased by : her husband Billy Dean Blanton; her parents, James Garnel Blanton and Ruby Whelchel Blanton; and her siblings, Buddy Blanton, Willie Blanton and Ophelia Hammett.

She is survived by : her children, Bobby Wayne Blanton (Julie Ann) of Gaffney and Tammy Blanton Cobb (T. J.) of Gaffney; her sister Mildred Mahaffey (Roger) of Gaffney; her grandchildren, Blake Blanton, Morgan Sargent (Lee), Cayden Cobb and Holli Cobb; and her sister Lib Blanton of Gaffney.
