He was predeceased by: his wife Angie Kennedy Sarratt; his parents, Ben Rhyne Sarratt and Elsie Coyle Sarratt; his sisters, Ann Martin, Nell Horne and Mary Sarratt; his grandchildren, Brandi Sarratt Cobb, Tara Lambert and Scott Lambert; and his great grandchild Jason Scott Lambert.
He is survived by: his children, Philip Sarratt (Sundra) of Gaffney and Karen Denton (Denny) of Gaffney; his sister Jane Teague (Larry) of Chesnee; and his grandchildren, Jennifer S. Parker (Jonathan), Benjamin Philip Sarratt, Angela Martin, Amber Scoggan (Johnathon) and Joshua Denton (Jessica).
A graveside service was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Grassy Pond Baptist Church Cemetery (254 Grassy Pond Rd, Gaffney, SC 29341).
