He was predeceased by : his father Randy Joe Fowler; his grandmother Josephine Mayfield; his brother Ronnie Hopper; and his stepfather-in-law Terry Ray. He is survived by : his wife Christy Brooks Fowler; his mother Rita Mayfield Hopper; his stepfather Butch Hopper; his sons, Matthew Thomas Fowler of Blacksburg, Joshua Randy Fowler of Blacksburg, Christopher (Joe) and Ray (Shayla); his siblings, Rhonda Hopper of Gaffney, Ashley Ray of Florida, Joe Fowler (Tiffany), Ben Brooks, Christopher Upchurch (Jaime Cole), Josh Brooks (Erika) and Jamie Upchurch (Wendy); his mother-in-law Carol Ray; his nieces and nephews, Stacy Hopper, Lucy, Sara Brooks, Joe Fowler Jr., Wyatt and Connor Ray; his cousins, Ciji Moore and Jerry Hambright; and his aunt Deborah Harrill.
