It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billy Harold Woodrow Mace (Gaffney, South Carolina), who passed away on June 8, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Mace and Elizabeth Dillinger Mace; and his siblings, Johnny Mace, Linda Pennington, Norma Pettit, Barbara Ruppe, Sybil Shropshire and Joan Black.
He is survived by: his children, Jody Mace (Susan), Dickie Mace (Dawn), Joyce Moore (Josh) and Chrissy Owens (Ernie); his sisters, Janice Rochester and Kathy Hudson; and his grandchildren, Jesse Hindman, Michael Mace, Cassidy McSwain, Katlyn Blackwell, Mackenzie Owens, Madison Moore, Landon Moore and Brandon Mace. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 3:00 PM at 250 Darwin Rd, Gaffney, SC 29340.
