He was predeceased by : his parents, Daniel Parker and Jessie Pace Parker; and his siblings, Betty Jo Benton, Effie Mae Painter, Marvin "Pop" Parker, Luther Parker and Floyd "Honeybee" Parker.

He is survived by : his wife Brenda K. Parker; his pet Midnight; his children, Tammy P. Ward (Jim) of Boiling Springs and Steven Chad Parker; and his brother Jack Parker of Gaffney.
