She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Frank Richardson and Julia "Judy" Ruppe Richardson; and her siblings, S. A. Richardson, Marvin Richardson, Lucille Hampton, Juanita Broome and Cornelia Ramsey.

She is survived by: her sons, James Edward Holmes of Gaffney, Benjamin Holmes of Gaffney and Todd Holmes (Ann) of Gaffney; her grandchildren, Joshua Franklin Holmes, James Albert Holmes (Christina), Crystal Diane Ramsey and Amanda Louise Holmes; and her great grandchildren, Rhett Holmes, Autumn Holcomb, Austin Wilkinson and Summer Allison. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Oakland Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
