He was predeceased by: his wife Eloise Spencer McAbee; and his parents, Roland McAbee and Dovie Peterson McAbee. He is survived by: his children, Dean McAbee (Pam) of Gaffney, Jackie Hester (Tim) of Monks Corner and Lynn Fowler (Mark) of Gaffney; and his grandchildren, Kevin Thomas (Danielle), Kelly Thomas (Justin), Timothy Hester (Corrine), Madison Hester (Rob), Keely McAbee, Brianna Miller, Zach Parker, Kristin Parker (Will), Kari Fowler (Zack) and Savannah Fowler.
