He was predeceased by: his parents, A. C. Montgomery and Marguerite Montgomery; and his brothers, Aroy Montgomery, Thomas Montgomery Sr. and L. D. Huskey.
He is survived by: his son Charles "Allen" Montgomery, Jr. (Terrica); his granddaughters, Hannah M. Palmer (Jamarkus) and Leah Montgomery; his sister-in-law Evelina Montgomery of North Augusta, SC; and his niece Tara Montgomery of Gaffney, SC. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
