He was predeceased by: his wife Earlene Mode Waters; his parents, Fred Wilburn Waters and Novella Blackwell Waters; his son Daniel Terry Waters, Jr.; and his grandson Daniel Terry Waters, III.
He is survived by: his daughter Brenda Kay Cathcart (Bill) of Summerville; and his grandchildren, Charles Douglas "Chad" Waters of Gaffney, Justin Blake Waters of Gaffney, Jennifer Danielle Reynolds of Gaffney and Michelle Finney (Jack) of Summerville. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
