He is survived by: his spouse Leigh Simmons; his children, Charles "Chuck" Steven Gordon Jr. (Amanda) and Stevie Ramsey (Christian); his grandchildren, Caroline McDaniel (Hunter), Zack Gordon, Theo Ramsey, Elias Ramsey, Pearce Ramsey and Dorothy Ramsey; and his great grandchildren, Vandiver "Van" Lawson and Kip Cooper McDaniel.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Woodlawn Presbyterian Church (3852 Woodlawn St, Sharon, SC 29742). A memorial service was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
