She was predeceased by: her parents, Grover Pennington Jr. and Estelle Lanier Cobb; her stepfather Dave Cobb; and her son Brian McAbee. She is survived by: her husband James H. Parker; her daughter Pam Sexton of Blacksburg; her brother Louis Pennington (Joyce) of Blacksburg; her grandchildren, Payton Wright (Hunter) and Brooklyn Roberts; and her great grandchild Belle Wright.
