She was predeceased by : her husband Ray Perry Hyder; her parents, William Dever Blackwell and Mattie Estelle Osment Blackwell; and her siblings, Glenn Blackwell, Margie Worley and Eula Curtis.

She is survived by : her son Richard "Rick" Lee Hyder (Janice) of Cowpens.
