He is survived by: his close friend Melissa Thomas; his son Daniel Cobb, Jr. of Gaffney; his stepson Joshua Thomas of Gaffney; his daughter Haley Thomas of Gaffney; and his brother Robert "Bobby" Cobb of Gaffney. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
