David Lester Parsons Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Lester Parsons of Gaffney, South Carolina, who passed away on May 4, 2026 at the age of 62. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, David Calvin Parsons and Shirley Sizemore Dimsdale; and his siblings, Judy Gail Thomas and Larry Dale Parsons. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Hardin Parsons; his children, Dustin Earl Parsons (Jessie Weathers) of Gaffney, Leslie Anne Parsons (Curtis Rayfield) of Gaffney and Crystal Lynne Parsons of Gaffney; and his grandchildren, Tristan Parsons, Kyle Wyant, Tyler Wyant, Corin Jenkins, Jerry Parsons, Michael Parsons, Landon Parsons, Kaley Phillips and Hazeley Parsons.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Blue Branch Baptist Church (1703 Pacolet Hwy, Gaffney, SC 29340). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
