It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Deniece O'Neal of Gaffney, South Carolina, born in Columbia, South Carolina, who passed away on September 18, 2021, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Donna Hasty Harris; and her stepmother Diane O'Neal. She is survived by: her father John O'Neal; her siblings, Bobby O'Neal (Gwen), Kelly Ann Tripp (Tate), Guy O'Neal and Becky O'Neal; her stepfather Billy Harris; and her friend Scott Schwarze. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Cherokee Creek Baptist Church, 501 Buck Shoals Road, Gaffney, SC 29341.

“I’ve known Deniece for many years. She helped me through an ugly time in my life. I’ll always feel like I owe her. Deniece Is not gone. She is with us and always will be. Journey (The band), pizza, and hiking the beautiful hills near Greenville SC. Days and times I’ll never forget. She’ll be missed but the thing is she still has a presence that will hopefully always be in mine and everyone else’s life.
