She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Wilkins Kirby, Sr. and Dorothy "Dot" Blanton Kirby; and her brothers, Keith Kirby and Dr. Robert W. Kirby, Jr.. She is survived by: her spouse Nelvin "Nicky" Bruce Humphries, Sr.; her sons, Nelvin Bruce Humphries, Jr. (Stacie) of Gaffney and Chris Humphries (Jennifer) of Spartanburg; her siblings, Greg Kirby (Shirley "Sam") of Gaffney and Karen Blalock (Robert) of Gastonia; her sisters-in-law, Deedra Kirby of Cowpens and Sheri Norris (George "Billy") of Spartanburg; and her grandchildren, Kolbie Humphries, Crew Humphries, Hunter Chapman and Harlie Chapman.
