She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Smith and Geneva Smith of Bessemer City, NC.; and her brothers, Johnny Smith, Artie Smith, Gary Smith and Michael Smith.
She is survived by: her son Travis Smith of Gaffney, SC; her granddaughter Kourtney Smith of Gaffney, SC; and her sisters, Barbara Summerlin of York, SC, Debra Carroll of Franklin, NC and Phyllis Braswell of Bessemer City, NC.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 3:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the Carpenter-Porter Funeral & Cremation Services (1100 E Main St, Cherryville, NC 28021). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
