He was predeceased by: his brother Ronnie Maldonado. He is survived by: his mother Mary Mooree Upchurch Holt of Gaffney; his children, Whitney Maldonado of Blacksburg and D. J. Maldonado of Pickens; and his siblings, Louis "Tony" Maldonado of Columbia, Wendy Ivette Martin (Josh) of Gaffney and Kimberly Hampton (Ronnie) of Gaffney.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Sardis United Methodist Church Cemetery (339 State Rd S-11-610, Gaffney, SC 29340).
