He was predeceased by: his parents, Buren Elmer and Katie Frances Blanton McDaniel; and his siblings, Delbert, Clayton McDaniel, Frances Parker, Sandra Wilkerson and Maybelle Sheppard.
He is survived by: his children, Wayne McDaniel (Elizabeth), Cheryl McDaniel, Debra Price, Lisa Meadows and Barbara Best; and his grandchildren, Chris McDaniel, Jamie Dutton, Dr. Bruce Price, Zac Johnson, Casey Love, Janet Lynn, Courtney Willis and Margaret Messer.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 29th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Gordon Mortuary of Gaffney (211 E Frederick St, Gaffney, SC 29340). A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 29th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Oakland Cemetery (717 College Dr, Gaffney, SC 29340).
