We bid farewell to Earl Millen of Gaffney, South Carolina, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 21, 2025 at the age of 78. Earl touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Robert McCullouch and Catherine Millen; his siblings, Floyd Millen, Gary Millen of Gaffney, Woody Millen, Johnny Millen, Frank Millen and Lib Sparks; Joyce Powell Millen.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Jean Duvall Millen; his sons, Tony Millen (Donna) of Gaffney and James Millen (Tammy) of Gaffney; his stepchildren, Ronald "Bo" Moss (Kathy) of Pacolet and Debra Moss of Travelers Rest; his siblings, Pete Millen (Judy) of Gaffney and Pearl Scruggs (Mary Willis) of Gaffney; and his grandchildren, Cheltsey Yeargin (Roger), Zackari Barron, Kaylee Millen, Kayla Swanger (Danny), Kennedy Sellers (Jerrico) and Klein Millen (Kaylee). He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Blakely Funeral Home (1047 Chesnee Hwy, Gaffney, SC 29341). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the New Harvest Church of God (120 Boiling Springs Hwy, Gaffney, SC 29341). A burial was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Richmond County Memorial Park (1717 E Broad Ave, Rockingham, NC 28379).
