He was predeceased by: his wife Doris Scruggs Turner; his parents, Eber Albert Turner and Marion Byars Turner; and his siblings, David Turner and Juanita Hough.
He is survived by: his children, Richard Turner (Kim) of Gaffney and LaDonna Turner White of Gaffney; his granddaughters, Jennifer Gray, Savannah White and Alexis Turner (Fiance'); and his great grandchildren, Liam Hendrix and Ethan Hendrix.
