It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Edna White Couch of Gaffney, South Carolina, who passed away on October 15, 2021, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband John Edward "Red" Couch; and her parents, Thomas White and Ida Trent White. She is survived by: her children, Bertha Ann Balkham, Anna Couch Hall (Ned), James Edward Couch, Thomas Kie Couch (Jewel) and Ralph Lee Couch (Linda); her sister Ann McDaniel (Nubert); and her grandchildren, Angie Wilson (Jerry), Inez Graham Cox, Wallace Graham, Tina Matheney (Ray), Eric Couch, Jeff Hambright, Wendy Smiley, Nathan Hall (Kayla), Casey Adkins (Nicholas), Tabatha Lanier (Mitchell) and Samatha Couch. She is also survived by 29 great-grandchildren, and 17 great-great-grandchildren.
