She was predeceased by : her parents, John Thomas "Tom" Sanders and Mary "Ellen" Atkins Sanders; her husband Ray Ellison Clary; her former life partner Joe Dean Spencer; and her siblings, Mary Frances Sanders of Gaffney, Ruth Sanders Lancaster Burgess of Staunton, VA, John Thomas Sanders, Jr., Roy N. Sanders "Nick" of Mechanicsville, VA, Jesse Ervin Sanders "Jesse" and Vernon Lee Sanders "Vernon" of Gaffney, SC..

She is survived by : her daughters, Susan Blackwood Spearman (Danny) of Lexington, SC, Mary Blackwood Starnes and Martha Blackwood Shaw (Jerry) of Gaffney, SC; her granddaughter Jennifer Spearman Swanner (Ryan); her great grandchildren, Jackson Knox Swanner "Jack" and Logan Everett Swanner "Logan" of Lexington, SC; her siblings-in-law, Mike Blackwood and Lutrica Blackwood Bridges of Gaffney; her nieces and nephews, Laura Lancaster Lembke of Virginia, Carol Blackwood of Gaffney, Wendy Blackwood Hamil of Tryon, NC, Joe Millwood, Don Millwood (Anita), Cherryville, Jan Millwood (Lynn), Vernon Lee Sanders (Julie) and Frank Wright (Pam, family: Jay Lancaster); her extended family, Vickie Spencer Phillips (Tommy), Julisa Centeno (Juan), Abriana Centeno of Asheville, NC, Jill Clary Stevenson (Dan) and Jay Ellison Clary (Delette); her brother Guy Clary (Marrsue); and also, Andrew, Ellison Clary and Ben Kercher. She is also survived by her two great grandsons and dining out with friends.

A graveside service was held on Saturday, May 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Frederick Memorial Gardens (986 Chesnee Hwy, Gaffney, SC 29341).
