He was predeceased by : his spouse Shirley Price Ramsey; his parents, William Clarence Ramsey and Louise Riddle Ramsey; his siblings, Roscoe, Oscar, Eugene, Henry Ramsey and Eloise Queen; and his great grandchild Levi Kovach.
He is survived by : his children, Louis Ramsey, Jr. of Gaffney and Sharon Ramsey Plocharczyk (Paul) of Charlotte, NC; his grandchildren, Amanda Kovach (Jacob) and Aaron Plocharczyk; his great grandchildren, Lemmy, George and James Kovach; and his sister-in-law Linda Kay Price.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
