He was predeceased by : his parents, Jack Porter and Marie Martin Porter; and his brother Roger Porter. He is survived by : his wife Sandra Jones Porter; his children, Eric Pennington of Gaffney, Bryan Pennington of Gaffney, Robin Peeler (Garry) of Gaffney and Samantha Ledbetter (David) of Gaffney; and his sister Tammy Cable of Blacksburg. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
