He is survived by: his wife Susan Kelly Brown; his pet Stella; his sons, Terry Wayne Byars (Chastity) of Blacksburg, James Brown, Jr. (Brooke) of Cowpens and Travis Brown (Olivia) of Clarksville, TN; his siblings, Fredrick Brown, Jr. of North Carolina, Bruce W. Brown (Amanda) of Boiling Springs, SC, Lettie Link of Spartanburg, Jackie Brown of Spartanburg, Pam Gilbert of Campobello and Holly Brown of Boiling Springs, SC; his grandchildren, Devin Byars, Cody Byars, Skyla Brown, Savannah Brown, Adriana Brown, Riley McGinnis, Audrey Watson and Grayli Byars; his great grandchild Kali Jane Byars; and his close friends, Keith and Nick.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Blakely Funeral Home (1047 Chesnee Hwy, Gaffney, SC 29341). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Blakely Funeral Home Chapel (1047 Chesnee Hwy, Gaffney, SC 29341).
