With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joann Ramsey of Gaffney, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 27, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Parnell Putnam and Lois Best Putnam; and her siblings, Charles Putnam, Dean Putnam, Tom Putnam, Buck Putnam, Pat Smith, Corrine Collins and Sue Phillips.
She is survived by: her husband Bobby Gene Ramsey; her sons, Dennis Ramsey of Gaffney and Scott Ramsey (Tressa) of Spartanburg; her brother Frankie Putnam (Cheryl) of Gaffney; her grandchildren, Candace Waters (Jason), Carleigh Etters (Caleb), Thomas Ramsey, Mary Catherine Ramsey and Lily Grace Ramsey; her great grandchildren, Phifer Waters and Maverick Waters; and her nieces, Cathy Kirkland (Mike) of Spartanburg and Connie Bolton (Reggie) of Blacksburg.
