He was predeceased by: his wife Kathryn Ann Whelchel Browning; his parents, Colie Browning and Easter Smith Brucke; his stepfather Albert Brucke; and his siblings, Dendy Sloan "Snake" Browning, Eugene Major "Tooty" Browning, Jake Roger Browning and Jane Brown.
He is survived by: his daughters, Cindy Kelly (John) of Gaffney and Robin Mann of Gaffney; his grandchildren, Ryan Bell, Kara Bell, Kelsey Jones and Anna Marie Jones; and his great grandchildren, Anzlee, Aryanna, Zayne, Archer and Aurora.
