As we bid Joyce farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Joyce is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Gossett and Rosa Blackwell Gossett. She is survived by: her husband Charles Junior McDaniel; her sons, Chris McDaniel of Gaffney, Mark McDaniel of Gaffney and Todd McDaniel (Mary) of Gaffney; her brother Gene Gossett (Diane) of Gaffney; and her grandchildren, Jessie McDaniel (Gage McDaniel) and Jean Gossett. She is also survived by sister; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Oakland Cemetery College.
