Laura Mae Fredell Brown Obituary
Gaffney, SC - - Laura Mae Fredell Brown, 51, of 126 Omni Road, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 26, 2026 at her residence.
Born in Greensboro, NC, she was wife of Ralph Brown and daughter of Annie Holbrook Owensby of Vale, NC and the late Lonnie W. Fredell, and stepdaughter of Jake Owensby. She was a retired carpet installer and a member of Mulls Chapel Baptist Church in Connelly Springs, NC. She loved her Lord and her family, cooking and traveling, especially to Maggie Valley.
Surviving in addition to her husband, mother and stepfather are two sons, Timothy Hoffner of Concord, NC and Christopehr Hoffner of Hickory, NC; two brothers, James Fredell (Betsy) and Jason Lee Fredell, both of Vale, NC; ten grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Teresa Fredell and Cassie Fredell, and a sister, Christina Hinson.
The family will receive friends from 2:00PM until 3:00PM on Saturday, May 30, 2026 at Mulls Chapel Baptist Church. Funeral services will immediately follow at 3:00PM at the Church with Reverend Jake Anderson officiating. Interment will be in the Mulls Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.
