She was predeceased by: her son Westley Blackwell. She is survived by: her children, Noah Holcomb, Carter Holcomb and Layla Blackwell of Gaffney, SC; her parents, James K Newton of Naples, FL and Carolyn M. Newton of Gaffney, SC; her extended family, Kim Morrow of Englewood and Lew D. Morrow, Jr. of Gideon; and her sibling's children, Josh Jennings (Kimberly) and Lexa Jennings of Gaffney, SC..
A funeral service was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Corinth Baptist Church (190 State Rd S-11-54, Gaffney, SC 29340).
