It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martha Patterson (Gaffney, South Carolina), who passed away on January 19, 2020, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Furman Lipscomb and Freddie Lee Destaffino Lipscomb; and her brother Brian Lipscomb. She is survived by: her daughters, Kimberly Patterson Gantenbein (Bobby) of Gaffney, Leslie Grell (Mark) of Bat Cave, NC and Laura Baley (John) of Asheville, NC; her grandsons, Myron Jack Baley and Bradley Hugh Owens (Samantha); her great grandchildren, Lukas Owens, Logan Owens and Roman Owens; her aunts, Mayella Blanton and Jane Leazer; and her uncle Louie Lipscomb.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, c/o of Bishop Lonnie Peeler, 203 Walnut Hill Farm Road, Gaffney, SC 29340.
